Fit for a rapper London's most popular home is a Hampstead mansion designed by Kanye Wests architect

The most popular homes for sale in London this year include a mansion in Hampstead designed by Kanye West’s architect; a disco palace in Totteridge, and a noted photographer’s Indian-inspired house in Chelsea.

London’s most-viewed home on Rightmove in 2018 was a new-build 7,940sq ft, six-bedroom detached house in Hampstead, which has won awards for its architecture.

Designed by architect Claudio Silvestrin, who also designed a minimalist New York apartment with Kanye West in 2007, the house has minimal interiors featuring beige wood and stone finishes; a dramatic contemporary garden; a cinema, pool and gym and views of the London skyline.

The house is listed as price on application but was previously on the market for £22.5 million.
